This is just a short note to let you know that we have a draft climate change plan for the town out for consultation at the moment, that you may be
interested in. There is still a month or so left to comment.
It is a partnership document that we are developing as part of a climate change project called Future Cities: urban networks to face climate change.
The idea is that it tells the story of what is already happening and what is being planned across the town,
by community groups, businesses and individuals, to both mitigate and adapt to the predicted impacts of climate change. So if you have any ideas or work to add in, or you can see significant gaps,
we'd be pleased to hear them. There are ten themes that it addresses, and we are really keen to hear from your community about any initiatives or
responses you may be aware of that should be included.

Happy Crew members mixed with friends and had a wonderful day clearing woodland that will is necessary to provide the habitat for the dormice to flourish. Just a few aches and pains afterwards, but it was worth it!!
